Spice Tour Itinerary – Discover the Secrets of Zanzibar’s Aromatic Heritage

Tour Duration: Approx. 2 to 3 hours

Location: Spice plantations in Kizimbani or Kidichi (15–30 min from Stone Town)

Departure Time: Morning or afternoon (based on preference)

Meet your guide and drive to the spice plantations located just outside Stone Town.

09:00 AM – Arrival at the Plantation

Start your guided walking tour through the green, lush spice farm, surrounded by trees, vines, and fragrant herbs.

09:15 AM – Spice Discovery Walk

Learn about the cultivation and traditional uses of spices like:

  • Clove – Zanzibar’s most famous export
  • Cinnamon, Cardamom & Nutmeg – used for cooking and medicine
