Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park + Maasai Cultural Visit

Your adventure begins with pickup at 7:30 AM from your hotel or location in Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a 6–7 hour drive through the scenic countryside, with a hot lunch stop in Morogoro town. Upon arrival in Mikumi around 3:30 PM, check in at your lodge and proceed to a Maasai Boma, where you’ll experience authentic Maasai culture — including their homes, traditional marriages, fire-making with sticks, and more. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bastian Camp (or similar mid-range accommodation).

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After an early breakfast, set off with your picnic lunch for a full-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park. This day offers excellent opportunities to spot diverse wildlife such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, lions, impalas, buffaloes, and many bird species.
