Day 1: Kigoma Arrival – Transfer to Gombe Stream National Park
- Pickup at Kigoma Airport or hotel
- 1.5-hour boat ride across Lake Tanganyika to Gombe
- Arrival and lunch at lodge
- Optional short forest walk or swim
- Dinner & overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge / guesthouse

Day 2: First Chimpanzee Trekking & Forest Hike
- Early breakfast, then chimpanzee trekking with ranger
- Learn about primate behavior & the Jane Goodall legacy
- Visit Kakombe Waterfall and explore forest trails
- Relax at the lake in the afternoon

Day 3: Second Chimpanzee Trek & Wildlife Spotting
- Another morning trek for a better chance to see chimps
- Spot colobus monkeys, olive baboons & forest birds
- Optional birdwatching or leisure time by the lake

Day 4: Canoe Safari or Cultural Interaction
- Optional canoe trip on Lake Tanganyika or forest walk
- Visit the old Jane Goodall research base (if open)
- Learn about the conservation of chimpanzees

Day 5: Gombe – Return to Kigoma
- After breakfast, transfer by boat back to Kigoma
- Optional city tour or Ujiji visit – where Livingstone met Stanley
- Overnight stay at a Kigoma hotel or lodge

Day 6: Departure from Kigoma
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Kigoma Airport for your flight or bus connection
